The focus of my online learning this week was the basics of word processing. I have used Microsoft word for many things over the years and played around with the functions. Overall my experience has been fairly simple and usually limited to just creating a basic word document, like writing a paper for school or creating a letter. However, this week I learned so much about the unbelievable amount of things I can do with this program.

My course readings taught me a great deal about how to create documents quickly and edit them. There are so many tools available now to make everything easy. I even did my own research from there and found so many online resources with tips and videos on Microsoft Word. You can even use Word to create a greeting card! Who knew? Here is a video I found about how to do just that.....

My online courses will certainly be much easier now that I've completed this lesson. Perhaps now I'm up to speed with my eight year old!
